New ISO 45001 Health & Safety Accreditation for Paul Anton

We are delighted to announce that following our ISO audit for 2020, Paul Anton has added a new accreditation to the business in the form of a 45001:2018 certificate.

The audit was completed under exceptional circumstances this year, having started the day of Boris Johnson’s lockdown announcement. Despite the challenges presented, the team were able to complete the audit whilst following the latest Governmental guidance regarding social distancing and hygiene safety.

Not only do they help give our customers the confidence that national standards will be met, but they also help to keep our business, products and services on their toes. The ISO 14001:2015 certification is all about managing the impact of your business on the environment. Working in an energy-intensive industry, it’s vital that we as a business mitigate the effect of our work on the wider environment wherever possible. We have put in place numerous schemes to reduce our carbon footprint including recycling any UPS units that we decommission. 

The provision of UPS and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services can be exceptionally dangerous to both employees and customers if not completed with the correct tools and training. For that reason, Health and Safety is at the very core of our business, a commitment reflected by our latest ISO 45001:2018 certification. This relatively new accreditation takes other existing Health & Safety standards into consideration, such as OHSAS 18001, to ensure the very highest of standards are met, protecting our team and yours.
